Larissa is a designer and leader of professional learning at EdPartnerships International. Prior to joining EdP she was Head of Teaching and Learning at Caulfield Grammar School.
Larissa has extensive experience supporting teachers to design and trial new forms of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment. She has co-designed and co-facilitated DET and Bastow programs including, Primary Maths and Science Specialists program, Leading Mathematics, the Mentor Support Program, Create and Leading Curriculum and Assessment.
Larissa has supported leadership teams in primary and secondary schools in the areas of learner agency and maths-focused strategic planning. Her leadership in these areas has included mentoring teachers, leading teachers and teams to: use an ‘Evidence Inquiry Process’; explore the purposes of a variety of assessment tools and pedagogies; interpret, analyse and make discerning use of evidence; and, explore ways to more productively work as a team and partner with young learners.
She has worked closely with various researchers and experts in Mathematics, supporting schools to lead curriculum and pedagogical innovations that meet the needs of all students.
