Mark Oudshoorn

Mark is currently employed as a Learning Specialist at Wantirna College. He has taught mathematics in Victorian government secondary schools for over fifteen years and has recently completed a short term role working in a Curriculum Support Team in the Department of Education. Mark has previously held leadership roles within schools across a range of portfolios including KLA leadership, student management and college operations.

As a teacher of mathematics, Mark has a particular interest in the development of learning continuums and ways in which they can be used to measure student learning growth. He is passionate about ensuring that all students are able to achieve success in mathematics and, as a lifelong learner, continually seeks new and innovative approaches to trial in his classroom.

Mark is also passionate about assisting mathematics teachers reflect on and improve their practice and is excited about the opportunity to work with the EdPartnership team in the Leading Mathematics Course.
