Program Details &  Registration

Dr. Jayne Louise Collins, Larissa Raymond and The EdPartnerships Team

This program is founded on Learner agency as a living ecology. It takes us beyond the confines of our current contexts, providing an alternative and more expansive perspective that strengthens the possibilities of realising learner agency as a human endeavour for all people.

It is guided by the Driving Question:

How might we re-imagine learner agency as a living ecology?

The Learner Agency program is a 5-day workshop series beginning with two foundational workshop days in Term 1. These two days are an essential component of the series. Participants then select from three additional components; offered as one learning workshop day each term. The pathway through these workshops is flexible and based on your identified needs. The program is designed for passionate teams of 2-3 leaders, teacher leaders and teachers who are interested in exploring and investigating learner agency in their school community and who will be actively supported by whole school leadership to ‘have a go’ and experiment in a process of professional inquiry.

The program focuses on the following areas:

  •     Shifting & shaping identities
  •     Becoming assessment capable learners
  •     Navigating, exploring and co-designing learning pathways together
  •     Creating spaces imbued with an ethic of care
  •     Pedagogical pathways to transformation
