OVERVIEW
Learning Communities are facing new challenges as they support young people’s learning across a range of learning environments. Understanding young people’s contexts, in these changing and complex times is more important than ever.
These resources are designed to support you to work with your colleagues around the needs of young people and their families, in partnership, as we continue to strengthen belonging and connectedness in our communities.
Join us and school colleagues as we explore these resources:
- Nine photos about me;
- Three things that matter to me;
- Five prompts to support listening to parents, carers and families.
This workshop introduces the resources and explores the different ways they can be used. Participants will have an opportunity in small groups to consider how the resource might be used in 3 way learning conversations with teachers, young people and families, to support co-designing for learning and strengthening learner agency.
